When Dreams Come True
When dreams come true …
So this week is a very special week for a couple of reasons!
It’s my birthday week for one, and I’m releasing my first book!!!
I get to take a dream off my vision board because it has become a reality! It’s no longer a dream; I did the work and saw it through!
Why does this matter?
Because if I can do it, so can you!
Your dream may not be to write a book or run a marathon, but your dreams matter just as much as mine do, and if I can be an inspiration for you to work toward your own, then my mission is complete!
The reward of realizing a dream is so great. It’s hard to describe the feelings of it because it’s happy and emotional and almost surreal in a, “Did this really happen?” sort of way. You look back and see the hard work that it took, the things that you had to sacrifice, and the change that you made in yourself along the way. It’s like you’re a whole new person when you cross that finish line.
I want you to get a chance to experience those feelings as well. Have you experienced them before? Are you in the midst of going after a dream on your heart already?
I feel as though there are four categories of people when it comes to dreams.
The first category is those who don’t have a dream or have lost their dreams along life’s path. The second category is those who have a dream but haven’t done anything with it. It kind of ends there. The third category is those who have a dream and are in the midst of pursuing it, but they’ve hit a wall and feel stuck. The fourth category, and the one I want to help you get to if you’re not there already, is those who have a dream and see it to the finish line no matter the obstacles that come. These dreamers are the ones that change the world.
Which category do you fall into?
One of my goals in writing Mind Over Marathon is that you have a clear direction to take your dreams to the finish line. Maybe even more importantly, that you discover who you are, your passions and giftings, and become more confident and less fearful of others so you can go boldly after those dreams!
Are you ready????
